Dr. Huang obtained his BA in Biotechnology from Xinjiang University, Urumchi, Xinjiang, China in 2011, MA in Botany from Yunnan University, Kunming, Yunnan, China in 2014, and PhD in Hydrobiology from Jinan University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, in 2019. Then, in September 2019, I joined Guangxi University in Assistant professor for teaching and research.

Research direction
In recent years, primary research focuses have been functional genomics and phylogeny, organelle genome evolution, fungal phylotaxonomy and evolutionary genomics, transcriptome regulation analysis, algal wastewater treatment, and aquatic functional feed development and utilization. Made significant contributions in these areas with a series of achievements. Currently published over 70 papers in reputable journals such as BMC Biology, Chemosphere, IMA Fungus, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Biotechnology for Biofuels, Journal of Cleaner Production, Bioresource Technology, Aquaculture etc., and filed applications for 15 patents. The total citations of articles reached 621, H-index reached 11.
